5 Simple steps to get rid of back acne

How to Get Rid of Back Acne Really Fast

Back acne is acne which occurs on the back, shoulders and arms as well as other parts of the body. Following these steps will also help you get rid of facial acne.

Step 1. Cleanse your entire body thoroughly with Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash. Be sure to concentrate on the areas with pimples.

Step 2. Wait a few minutes before rinsing it off to get rid of all the oil, and let the medicine work.

Step 3. Use a loofa sponge or a Buf-Puf to exfoliate the inflicted area. Don't scrub too hard that you increase irritation. Exfoliating will help to get rid of back acne because it removes dead skin that can clog your pores which is what causes acne in the first place.

Step 4. Use an oil-free, medicated lotion such as Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer on the areas with acne.

Step 5. To spot treat your back acne blemishes Use, use acne medication cream with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.
Don't use a 5% or 10% benzoyl peroxide solution because it will only increase irritation and will not decrease the time it takes to get rid of back acne. If you find that you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide medications, you may substitute sulfur to help get rid of back acne.

The Beach Method

Some people find that if they stay in the beach water for 5 minutes submerging their whole back under water. Then roll over flat on their stomach with the sun shining on their back for approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until your back feels warm.Repeat those steps several times to help get rid of back acne. You will probably see that you have begun to get rid of your back acne as soon as the next day.

Other Tips

Drinking 8 glasses of water every day to ensure that your body is hydrated properly and will not need to release as much oil and bacteria and you shouldn't have to get rid of as much back acne.

Other generic versions of Body Wash are available. The important ingredient required is 2% salicylic acid. Any medicated moisturizer you use should only contain .5% or 2% salicylic acid.

After you get rid of your back acne you will also want to switch to using an alpha-hydroxy lotion.

Lemons or tomates have acid that will help kill acne causing bacteria as well. Slice and rub on the skin where your back acne occures. I only recomend this if you have sensitive skin and the chemical treatments do more harm than good.

A simple recipe for an exfoliating scrub that will help remove dead skin cells that can clog pores and cause breakouts: Combine juice from one grapefruit into a bowl with 1 1/2 cups of white sugar and 1/2 cup of coarse sea salt. Massage into the affected areas and dry by patting. Do not rub dry.

Warnings

Under no circumstances should you pick or pop the pimples. That will only increase the chance of infection. Reduce the chance of infection by treating any popped pimples with 3% hydrogen peroxide or 10% benzoyl peroxide . Never use Neutrogena or benzoyl peroxide if you are using Accutane. Accutane kills oil glands under the skin, thereby removing the much needed producer of oil.
